Golden Feet SC in association with Sports4life Academy offers Indoor & Outdoor soccer programs for U4 to U13+ players. Our programming follows the Canadian Soccer Association’s – Long Term Player Development Program.
Soccer Skills Academy Program
This is an introductory program for players 5-15 years old. It is designed to help develop player’s abilities, skills and fundamentals by having players participate in various drills and activities that will improve their overall playing ability, all while ensuring that they are engaging and having fun!
Competitive Program
Players with a higher level of commitment, train together throughout the year. All players are exposed to a high tempo, developmentally appropriate coaching program based on GFSC’s L.T.P.D curriculum.
Our teams have the opportunity to play at the district level in the E.M.D.S.L league and game formats can range from 7v7 to 11v11 as players advance through this stage.
The Golden Age U8 – U12 Boys & Girls
This is an important time to teach basic principles of play and to establish a training ethic and discipline. Repetitions are important to develop technical proficiency but creating a fun and challenging environment is still paramount to stimulate learning and promote a love of the game.
Simple league schedules are created, but no standings are kept – the emphasis is still FUN. Players participate in Soccer Festivals at the end of the season.
Identifying The Golden Player U13+ Boys & Girls
At this stage, elite soccer groups express interest in recruiting talented youth players.
Through player development, talent identification and talent development, Youth players learn how to become high performance athletes, and will be prepared to successfully transition into the senior high performance sector as a professional, semi-professional or university/college player.
